Rest is important and for 2018 four-star guard Brandon Williams he has already started learning the value of it. In a world where high-level basketball recruits don't get a lot of time off when you combine high school and travel team events plus the added pressure of recruiting, that means rest can be hard to come by.

Williams tried to take it a bit easy on himself late in the summer to ensure that he would be full strength for his junior season. In addition that he will now take a bit of a break from sitting in airports and cramped airplanes to unwind after a string of visits this month that took him to Connecticut, Kansas and Arizona.

Getting to know schools is always an important part of the process, but for Williams he simply needs a break. The top-25 2018 recruit is already well on his way in his recruitment with a host of big offers and that is one reason he is OK with slowing it down for a bit.

After seeing Tucson over the weekend he said another college trip could happen before his season, but if not he'll pick things back up after his junior year at Encino (Calif.) Crespi is finished.
