As the summer gets closer to arriving that means things will only become more intense on the recruiting trail as programs make their big push over the summer months to get recruits on campus and committed in time for the early signing period in the fall. July's live period will determine plenty, but programs are already working to position themselves well going into the summer.

One prospect Arizona has kept its eye on closely going into the summer if four-star forward Galen Alexander from Lafayette, Louisiana. The 6-foot-6 recruit has continued to hear from assistant coach Joe Pasternack and the rest of the staff on a consistent basis and the next big step in the process for him with UA is to get out to Tucson for a visit.

"I don't really have any visits scheduled, but I know for sure I'm going to take two officials - one to Marquette and one to Arizona," he said. "I can't give you a date right now though."
