Arizona football finished up its 2022 spring football season with the conclusion of the 14th practice right before the spring game on Saturday. The Wildcats started the spring practice with 19 new players on the roster and a new defensive coordinator in Johnny Nansen, who is implementing a new system in his 4-2-5 zone-base defense.

As the spring nears an end, running back Jalen John saw his red jersey taken off and put on the offensive blue jersey while running 11-on-11 drills with a mix of units. While running drills, John looked to have good balance and vision and broke off a couple of runs of 10 yards or more.
