There was a late surprise for Arizona last weekend against Utah as true freshman Wendell Moe started his first career collegiate game, taking over at left guard for a banged-up Josh Donovan.
There had been talk of Moe impressing on the scout team, but his rise to becoming a starter happened quicker than many likely anticipated.
Moe, a two-star prospect out of Long Beach, Calif., originally committed to Morgan State out of high school before becoming a late commit to Arizona.
