I wanted to let everyone know that I have been playing okay lately. Our AAU team [Houston Hoops] played in Dallas this past weekend. We played six games between Saturday and Sunday. Even though we won the tournament I feel that we still have room for improvement.
I can’t wait until this weekend when we go to Vegas because we are going to put on a show. I hope after this tournament that our team be ranked No.1 in the country. I feel that our team needs to work on being more consistent when we play. We need to put the team away in the first 5 minutes of the game and not wait until the fourth quarter.
I got to hang out with Fendi (Onobun) and Nic (Wise) a little more this weekend and we are really trying to get a chemistry going between us.
My recruitment has been going well lately. Arizona, UConn, Illinois, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Arizona State and Georgia Tech have been showing me a lot of love. I’m also excited about this week when Lute Olson from Arizona comes to visit me on Wednesday. I know that it would put Arizona high on my list.
I just can’t wait until it is all over and I can just think about basketball again. Not worry about what college I’m going to attend. I think that I will be in Tucson on April 30. I also can’t wait until I get my SAT scores back this Friday. I know that I did well, and I hope that I received an 1100.
I have to go, and I hope that I see you guys this weekend in Vegas.
I have to give shout-outs every time I do a diary. So I want to give a shout-out to all of my good friends and family. Natalie, Keenan, Cizzybaby, Roc, Cameron, Nic, Fendi, J-Mike, Breon, Jeremy, Steve, Petitt, Ryan, J-Mac, Lil B, AJ, Spence, Q, Wayne, Rich, Wendell, Coach Russ, Josh Pastner, and Ben Hansen.
