Five takeaways: Jedd Fisch press conference fall camp Day 3

Arizona had its first open practice and first day of pads in 105-plus degree weather in front of media and fans for the Wildcats’ third fall camp practice on Friday. Head coach Jedd Fisch’s group on both sides worked on their respective positional drills and practiced 11-on-11 team work in the redzone as well.

With it only be Day 3 of practice, Arizona is still in the process of finding their starting unit and rotating players in and out of the lineup to see who best fits.

“Good first day of practice with shoulder pads on,” Fisch said. …First time we competed against one another. So, the first few days as our usual routine is where we just work on fundamentals and technique and then with good competition today, we have good competition still going, we’ve got some guys that just got here. …We’ll we see how good we can get.”

Fisch had the opportunity to speak to reporters about the team and how things look after day 3 of fall camp on Friday.
