Initially transferring to Michigan, former North Carolina star guard Caleb Love was forced to decommit due to credit transfers and eventually transferred to Arizona to play his last season of college basketball.
Wednesday saw Love speak to the press for the first time since he made the commitment to the Wildcats in late May.
Here are five takeaways from Love’s introductory press conference:
Love thinks he will fit in well with Boswell, Bradley
Playing at UNC alongside another ball handling guard in R.J Davis, Love knows how to mold his game in unison with other versatile guards. Its only been a month since arriving and playing basketball at Arizona, but Love believes that him and guard’s Kylan Boswell and Jaden Bradley can become a force to reckon come the season and said that he is adding parts of his game through them.
"I think we can be really elite as far as how versatile we are,” Love said. “We are three totally different players as far as our games but we have been taking bits and pieces from each other as we are playing in practice, competing, in 1-on-1’s, im picking up on things they do and trying to put it in my game. …I’m being a sponge right now.”
