"Our entire team is excited about receiving these new uniforms," senior point guard T.J. McConnell said in a statement. "Not only are they going to look great, but the technology that went into making them will benefit us on the court. So many great players in Arizona history wore similar uniforms, and it's nice to be able to honor them while we try to do some of the same great things on the court."
The new uniforms feature a clean look at is intended to be a nod to the uniforms worn during the 1990s when Lute Olson really brought the program to prominence winning the National Title in 1997.
With that in mind the side panel of the uniform pays tribute to that period of Arizona hoops with a "Cats" logo running up the side of the shorts.
Unlike many programs that have jerseys for special occasions, Arizona will use the uniforms all season long switching between the various combinations.
