Arizona coach Jedd Fisch noted at the beginning of the week on Monday that the program hasn't won back-to-back games since the 2019 season and talked about the importance of taking that next step. Well, that step is going to have to wait tell next season after the Wildcats fell 31-20 against Washington State.

"Disappointed in the outcome of the game today. Washington State's very good team, as I've been saying all week, very good defense, Fisch said. "You can't turn the ball over four times against a good defense and expect to win."
