Arizona has targeted a few recruits from San Diego (Calif.) Madison, and after visiting Tucson on Monday and Tuesday one of the prospects decided his future team would be the Wildcats.

Athlete recruit Lee Walker decided to end his recruitment Tuesday afternoon prior to leaving Tucson as he gave the 'Cats his commitment before heading back to Southern California.
"They offered me a long time ago, so I had a long time to think about it," Lee said. "And then I kind of made a checklist, and they fit all the things I wanted. It wasn't too far from home but not too close. And then the biggest thing to me was that I was leaving both of my families behind - my high school football family and my real family - to join their family.
"Their recruiters were good, they were funny and I just felt like they had a lot of interest. So I just felt today was the right day, because if you want to do something you have to do it."
Although he had thought long and hard about the decision for a while, it didn't take very long once he was on UA's campus to decide what he wanted to do.
"After seeing the campus, the weight program and all the new stuff they're getting, I felt like today was the day," he said. "It took a lot not to just go down and say, 'Alright, I'm ready to commit,' but I waited until the end of the trip. I talked to my coach and he said he was behind me 100 percent, so I felt good about doing it."
When watching Walker's film one thing that stands out above the rest is his speed, and at this point the rising senior is hoping to stay on the offensive side of the ball.
"When I told them that I was going to commit, coach (Rich) Rodriguez said 'we're going to be giving you sweeps and reverses and you're going to be our slot guy,'" the new UA commit said. "And that's why I feel like Arizona is another home, because I'm going to be doing exactly the same thing that I do in high school - except for playing defense."
Walker made the trip with two Madison teammates - Pierre Cormier and Michael Garner - both of whom now hold offers from the 'Cats. Cormier is a 2013 running back prospect and Walker said he hopes his fellow senior makes the same decision he does when he's ready.
"It would be nice for Pierre to go with me, but at the end of the day it's his decision," Walker said. "We bonded a lot on the trip and he helped me my decision. He's been in the recruiting game longer, so he gave me some things to look at and that helped me make my decision."
Walker is the Wildcats 23rd commitment of the 2013 class and the first of the month of August.
