Arizona football five takeaways: Brennan Carroll on Local Media Day

Arizona offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Brennan Carroll spoke to local media Tuesday morning to discuss the upcoming season for the Wildcats. He spoke on a number of topics from the offensive line to the offensive playmakers for UA as the Wildcats look to build off what they accomplished last year.

Here are five takeaways from Tuesday's press conference with Carroll:

Jonah Savaiinaea adjusting to right tackle in spring camp

It was during spring camp earlier this year when sophomore Jonah Savaiinaea was receiving some reps at right tackle. It was no surprise to Carroll that he picked up the right tackle position with relative ease.

"I mean he is a really good athlete," Carroll said. "He is a tremendous competitor. He'll accept any challenge you throw at him. His talent takes over, but it is really his work ethic and how hard he has trained to get to this position. I would say it's not shocking, but a pleasant surprise."
