PFF Breakdown: Arizona vs. Oregon State
Jason Dayee
GOAZCATS.com Reporter

The Arizona football team hosted No. 11 Oregon State at home Saturday, and in that game the Wildcats went up against one of the best teams in the nation. In that game against the Beavers, Arizona faced another top-25 opponent and came out on top, securing the 27-24 victory.

The win for Arizona gave them back-to-back victories against ranked opponents, which is not something that has been done since the 2014 season when the Wildcats made it to the Fiesta Bowl. Arizona also ended a four-game losing streak at home against ranked opponents, with its last home victory against such a team dating back to 2018.

The Wildcats have now had three of their last four games come against teams ranked in the top 12. However, despite facing this formidable challenge, it was evident early that Arizona was able to hang in against the Beavers despite them having a standout quarterback in college football in D.J. Uiagalelei and one of the best running backs in the Pac-12, Damien Martinez, and two high-level wide receivers in Silas Bolden and Anthony Gould. The Wildcats battled from start to finish with the Beavers taking everything they could give them.

Here's an in-depth breakdown of the latest PFF grades given to UA players following the game.
