Tucson, Ariz. - April 17, 2009 - Josh Gershon assumes role of GOAZCATS.com Publisher, taking the place of Jim Storey, who had previously been publisher since the website's inception in 2002.

Gershon, previously the website's Senior Editor, will begin his responsibilities as GOAZCATS.com Publisher immediately.
"I am extremely excited for this opportunity," said Gershon. "I enjoyed my time working with Jim as Senior Editor and I feel like I'm ready to run both the editorial and managerial sides of this website. To step in at the most successful moment in the history of the business is an extremely humbling and challenging feat but I will do everything in my power to not only maintain what Jim started but to consistently build and improve on it."
Gershon, 27, started with GOAZCATS.com upon its creation and from 2002-05 had the position of Senior Writer. In 2005, Gershon was promoted to Senior Editor and has been in charge of all editorial decisions with the website.
Gershon graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S.B.A. in Management Information Systems in 2005.
Storey, who is relinquishing his position at GOAZCATS.com, will now focus on other business endeavors.
"GOAZCATS.com started as a passion for me and through the years it has become a great destination for Arizona Wildcats fans. I know that Josh will continue to bring the recruiting and team information to Arizona fans that they have come to expect," said Storey. "This opportunity for Josh is well deserved and I personally look forward to following the site."

Arizona Athletics and boasts the most widely used message boards available specifically for Wildcat fans. Since its inception in the fall 2002, GOAZCATS.com, has proved to be the leading outlet for breaking Wildcat recruiting, basketball and football news.
Started as an independent site by Storey in 2002, GOAZCATS.com joined the Rivals.com network in 2003, and has been one of the fast growing websites on the network year after year. Currently GOAZCATS.com ranks in the Top 50 of total subscriptions
In 2008, GOAZCATS.com recorded a net growth of 16.7% and holds a two-year growth of 31.4%, which is amongst the top of all Rivals.com websites. GOAZCATS.com has been voted Best College Basketball Fan Site by College Hoops Net and Best Pac-10 site by Rivals.com.
In 2007 Rivals.com was acquired by Yahoo for roughly $100 million. Rivals.com continues to be a dominant force in online team and recruiting information.
