Players to watch: Arizona vs. No. 11 Oregon State

Arizona returns home to face off against No. 11 Oregon State after coming off of a bye-week. The Wildcats are entering this matchup on a high note, after its 44-6 victory over then-No. 19 Washington State where they forced three turnovers. This was the largest margin on the road of victory in the program’s history against a ranked opponent for UA.

Oregon State, who also is coming off a bye week, has a season record of 6-1, with a 3-1 conference standing. Their most recent game was a solid 36-24 win against UCLA. Historically between the two teams, the Wildcats hold an advantageous position in the all-time series against the Beavers, with a record of 24-16 and one tie, with a 12-7 record for home and a 10-8-1 record for away.

Arizona has won in three of the five last encounters with Oregon State, although the Beavers secured a 56-38 win in their most recent matchup on Nov. 2, 2019 in Tucson.

RB Jonah Coleman - stats vs. WSU: 98 yards receiving, 70 yards rushing, four reception, three rushing touchdowns

Jonah Coleman was the driving force behind Arizona’s victory against WSU, delivering an outstanding performance with 168 rushing yards and three necessary rushing touchdowns. In this game, he averaged 6.4 yards per rush, gaining a significant 70 yards on 11 rush attempts.

His overall performance this season has not been short of this one. In just seven games, he has already surpassed what he did last year. Across 65 rush attempts, he has totaled 433 rushing yards, averaging approximately 62 yards rushed per game.
