Statement from Laval Lucas-Perry
Laval Lucas-Perry has decided to release a statement through GOAZCATS.com to the UA fan base regarding his transfer from the University of Arizona.

The academics and athletics at the UA are among the best in the country, and I am grateful to have been a part of such a prestigious program.
I would like to thank the staff, faculty, students and fans that have embraced and supported me. I would particularity like to thank Coach Olson, Coach O'Neill, Coach Pastner and Coach Simon who are outstanding coaches and I have much respect for them.
As you know I always give 100% in the classroom and on the court. I have done my best to represent UA as a positive student/athlete at all times.
My transfer from the UA program is not a reflection of any one thing, but is purely personal. I would like to wish the coaches, players and fans much success in the years to come, and UA will always be considered my second HOME!
