Arizona has been light on official visitors so far, but that will soon change once the Pac-12 season begins. One recruit Arizona continues to target, however, decided he wanted to make use his first official visit on a trip to Tucson. Buena Park, California offensive tackle prospect Ryan Nelson played Friday night before making his way to UA for his trip and even though he had been out to the school previously seeing the campus on a game day was something he was looking forward to experiencing.

He wasn't let down.

"It was an awesome trip, and I really like it out there," he said. "It was cool to see the game day atmosphere and the student section and the hype they had with them. I loved seeing the jerseys and the tribute to Pearl Harbor. I like the facilities and I love the coaches, so it was pretty awesome for me."

Rich Rodriguez recently said that he would prefer to have more official visits after the season since it would allow him and his staff and players more time to spend with recruits, but Nelson wasn't let down at all by how much he was able to be around the program during his visit.

In addition to that face time with the staff the visit presented Nelson with a chance to see a game in person at Arizona Stadium giving him another perspective on a school he is highly considering.

"It was awesome seeing how they all work together," Nelson said. "They're all pushing each other to get better and everyone is all in it for the team and there's not a lot of "I" guys. So it was pretty cool."
