The Cardinal gave up 347 yards and three touchdowns to the rapidly improving Jimmy Clausen in a 28-21 loss to Notre Dame. Toby Gerhart had another solid game with 104 yards and a touchdown on the ground while the defense held the Fighting Irish to 83 total rushing yards. The big difference in this game was quarterback Tavita Pritchard's three interceptions in addition to another Stanford turnover for a minus-4 turnover margin on the game.
