In the Braves second Trinity league at San Jan Capistrano (Calif.) JSerra, all three weapons were on point in Bosco's 79-63 victory over the Lions on Friday night.
Dorsey finished with 19 points, six assists and five rebounds, while four star, class of 2014 recruit Daniel Hamilton finished with 21 points (5 of 7 from 3-point range) and 11 rebounds.
Perhaps the first option on the loaded St. John Bosco roster, UTEP commit Isaac Hamilton, took a night off from scoring as he finished with 14 points, eight assists and five rebounds.
Bosco jumped on top of JSerra from the outset, taking a 10-1 lead just two minutes into the game.
Dorsey and Daniel Hamilton led the 43-26 first half onslaught, scoring 12 and 11 points, respectively.
Bosco connected on 16 of its 32 first half field goal attempts while JSerra struggled from the field to the tune of just 10 of 37.
The younger Hamilton started off the second half with five quick points, and the Braves went on a 12-2 run, pushing its lead to a game-high 27 points.
JSerra found its momentum in the fourth quarter behind class of 2013 recruit Jamal Aytes (15 points and 11 rebounds), cutting the Bosco lead to just 10, 65-55, with 4:25 to play.
Daniel Hamilton's fifth 3-pointer and four quick points from Dorsey put JSerra's comeback hopes to rest as Bosco went on to take the 16-point victory.
Bosco senior forward Darien Williams finished with a double-double as well, scoring 13 points while pulling down 11 rebounds.
Three star, class of 2014 recruit Johnnie Vassar scored 13 points for JSerra, and class of 2015 recruit Rex Pflueger finished with 10.
St. John Bosco's next contest will be a highly anticipated against Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei on Wednesday, Jan. 9 at 7 p.m.
JSerra will get a small breather against top national competition as it moves on to play Anaheim (Calif.) Servite on Wednesday.
