Cats Confidential: Will Parks

[rl]
Free safety William Parks is determined to get more playing time this coming year on defense, no matter where the Wildcats need him. The Philadelphia native likes to joke around a little bit too - after practice that is.

Do you know what "jawn" means? Well, Parks gave GOAZCATS.com a little "Philly slang" trivia before the interview and we were stumped. We aren't alone though, he said many of his teammates aren't catching on either.
He explained it to us as "a word used to describe anything and everything."
The "jawn" was pretty entertaining to watch. The jawn as in the board drill. Parks took on fellow freshman Trey Griffey, which ended in the defense celebrating. Parks said the two are friends off the field, but they have to be enemies on it.
Arizona's defense was thin last year, and Parks was one of the ten true freshmen who played in 2012. The Wildcats played ten freshmen last season to put them among the top-20 nationally and second in the Pac-12.
Parks played in 13 games during his true freshman season and he collected nine tackles during that time.
