After finishing one of the last practices of the season at home Tuesday before heading off to the New Mexico Bowl, Arizona linebacker Jake Fischer spoke with GOAZCATS.com.
With finals and the bowl game in the same week, Fischer discussed how it's been a balancing act between the two. Not to mention, with the offseason coming up so soon, he believes it is important to stay focused.
He also reflects on the past year, talking about battling back from an ACL injury and sitting out a whole season, to being a significant contributor.
Fischer has played in every game this season, racking up a team-high 106 tackles and averaging 8.8 per game. His career high was 14 tackles against Oklahoma State this season.
The Wildcats will face Nevada on Saturday at 11 a.m. MST.
