Arizona cancels Phoenix College scrimmage
Four days prior to what would have been the public's first look at Arizona this spring, the program announced that Friday evening's scrimmage at Phoenix College has been canceled.
"We need to maximize the practice opportunity and to do that, it is best that we practice on campus," the release read Monday afternoon.

Instead, the Wildcats will practice Friday afternoon in Tucson. Via the team's Twitter account, UA plans to practice in Phoenix again "moving forward."
Starting Monday, head coach Rich Rodriguez has five on-campus practices remaining before the April 12 spring game at Arizona Stadium.
