Hoyas attempt to peel Orange this evening

February 8, 2012 It's that time, Georgetown's annual match up with arch-enemy Syracuse. The contest, number 87 between the schools, takes place at Syracuse's Carrier Dome at 7p tonight. Ranked 11th/12th nationally, Georgetown, 18-4, 8-3 in the BIG EAST hopes to make this win number 40 in the series, and the third victory in the last four tries. Syracuse, ranked 2nd in the country with a 23-1/10-1 record, will attempt to say atop the BIG EAST and protect its lofty national standing.

ESPN is the television outlet broadcasting this game. As always, Rich Chvotkin will man the radio duties, with WTEM 980 being the station.

Thursday's media day provided some insight into the Hoyas' preparation and thoughts. Exclusive sessions with Markel Starks, Jabril Trawick and Greg Whittington can be heard on the Premium Court message board. They discuss relationships with Syracuse players, on court expectations from Syracuse, and what the Hoyas need to do.
