Recruits Invade Louisville

The University of Louisville is in the middle of hosting a big-time recruiting weekend, and has the inside scoop on some of the players on campus, including information on visitors for football, basketball, baseball, and women's basketball.


The biggest recruiting story of the evening has to the the surprise appearance of Marquis Teague, the second-rated player in the class of 2011 and the No. 1 point guard in the class. Teague and all of the current UofL prospects and visitors were tailgating prior to the football game against Indiana State and then spent time on the field prior to kickoff.

Teague was joined on the visit by what one source close to the program called the "most talent the program has ever had on a recruiting weekend". Along with Teague, top 100 prospects Rod Odom (6-8 F, 2010), Wayne Blackshear (6-5 G, 2011), Zach Price (6-8 F, 2011), Mike Shaw (6-8 F, 2011), and Macari Brooks (6-2 G, 2011).
