Four-star center names top schools

The 2011 hoops class is definitely loaded in the state of Mississippi.

The Magnolia State currently has five four-star prospects and one five-star recruit within its borders. One of those top talents is Brandon center Tyler Adams. The 6-foot-8, 260-pounder has scholarship offers pouring in from around the country.

"Recruiting has been going pretty good so far," Adams said. "Ever since our season got over a lot of coaches have been calling me. I expected everything that is going on right now. I used to make a big deal out of it but now I don't really pay too much attention to it. I try to stay focused."

Adams holds offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Baylor, Duke, Florida, Kentucky, Memphis, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, USC and Wake Forest among others. But the talented junior is mainly focused on five programs at the moment.

"Right now my top schools are Mississippi State, Alabama, Memphis, Florida and Duke," Adams said.

Adams really likes what the instate Bulldog program has to offer and feels comfortable with the situation in Starkville.
